We love adding a new client to the family here at Motive.
To do so, as each client is different – different history, different dynamics, different goals – we’ve developed a process for onboarding and creating scope that works efficiently and is protective of client resources. Though we’re always open to client request, here’s what we’ve found to work best.
Onboarding audit and reporting
The very first thing is the first thing, and that means getting familiar with all of your accounts and systems.
To do so we connect your systems to ours and look carefully at the items you had wanted us to.
It’s worth noting that not every client wasn’t the same thing. If all you want is a logo, we’re not going to need to do this. But – for those that want integrated services – there’s no better way to start.
Defining scope and getting started
Following the audit and onboarding we usually know enough to make recommendations and be an active partner in helping you get where you want to go.
At this point we will offer scope samples in line with what you’ve asked us to look at. We try to offer you a variety of samples that give you different approaches to investment, leaving the final values of money, time, and thoroughness in your hands to determine.
From there we refine till it fits like a glove… and we get started.
Kicking ass and taking names
From there, we execute. Our normal rhythm has a once a month or bi-weekly meeting with client stakeholders, monthly reporting and recommendations and as frequent of updates and project process as are required. Everyone is different.
Either way, we work, we work smart, we work iteratively and we enjoy the ride of building the tools that enable you to build your business better, it’s a lot of fun.
